If you have a loss from syndication investment ( the entire project went bust) can you use that loss (from the final K-1) to offset your regular W-2 income ? 

Long story short I guess – Upwork peeps are able to do it for O-K cost – and I don’t have to spend hours on it.

I decided to fix up (20+K expenses in the last 3 months) and have signed the realtor contract last week to sell.

If you more than one owner/member in a LLC, the LLC will file a 1065 partnership return, but all that does is spit out a K-1 (like a w2 or 1099) showing the profit / loss that you need to report on your 1040 form.If the LLC is single member, then you will basically continue file addition SchE for your long term rentals.

I am not aware of how much the rent is but do the math, 3, 4 months no rent, plus 5- 7 k rental turn.

Does anyone have experience with these types of loans? And if so, any recommendations for a lender in the Indianapolis area?
