Expense ratio will be higher then normal (small facility) unless you do the managing, snow, grass repairs your self.

Offer a cold drink on the hot days, hot drink on the cold days, help keep the property clean, even help shovel snow from steps.

Snow is not the only reason but security.

Does anyone have experience on how well  they heat for those of us in snow country?

I live in Pennsylvania, but have visited Myrtle Beach several times and think at a minimum it will become our future snow bird destination, or possibly our future full time residence.  

I'd watch your maintenance costs as well on an older property, and be sure to include snow removal in your planning. 

This is especially due to the influx of snow birds, students (UNCW and CFCC), and young professionals coming to the growing area.

Will you have to pay lawn care, landscaping or snow removal?  

I guess I was under the impression that since this is a snow bird and tourist state that there were shorter terms.
