As the US loses its status as the superpower of the world this century, it's likely that the US dollar will lose its status as the world's reserve currency (and the Chinese, Russians and others are hellbent to have that happen sooner rather than later).

Biggest issue is cultural - they don't understand what is "normal" in the states! 

There are many good brokerages in Chicago, and you will have to decide who has the culture you are looking for.

Those are doing very well because they are also in Southern CA and I know the important rules and culture, in general.

Culture of the group - is it established & maintained?

I am a mom to two kids, a performing and teaching artist connected to native culture of Brazil.

The language barrier and culture becomes a problem.
