Through a stroke of luck, I have a cash offer on one of my rentals (it's vacant due to a tenant turnover). 

We also owe her for when she got heat stroke and had to get a hotel room.

Our last three projects involved homes in which there had been 2 deaths and a very nasty stroke.  

That is a great stroke of luck.

At 54, I never imagined that I would have a brain anneurrism and a stroke two days before my planned surgery to correct my problem that my head surgery would correct. 

Anyway, different strokes for different folks, military towns have been good to me and they are an interesting niche that have a lot of the upsides of turnkey without a lot of the downsides.   

if you own it for many years they will usually look at todays value. not what you paid for it.I bought 4 acres in Rohnert park in 95 ish.. was out of the city limits paid 27k for it.. well by a stroke of luck and some foresight I like to think I had or have.. it has now been brought into the city and is directly across the street from the entrance to the Graton Casino and zoned mixed use resi.. value today probably about 3 mil. so if I go to develop it I am certainly hoping lender throws the land in at 3 mil not 27k and pretty sure they will.which community are you waiting out the moratorium..

In general broad strokes, the market's doing the same thing as many markets, ultra competitive with very low inventory.

With one stroke of the pen the Tenant becomes Home Owner, simply and in my opinion ETHICALLY. :)

Since my brain annu rims and a stroke 6 years ago and still not walking I have learned from this site for about the last 18 months and not felt a bunch of stress.
