That work and money has left the family member less than thrilled with the property and they want to get rid of it.I am interested in taking control of the property and rehabbing it so I can sell it.

Upon the dissolution of a company or partnership there are specific state laws as to the disposition of assets and the payment of liabilities, in other words much of this is covered by state law, at issue is when there is disagreement and that usually results in taking legal action to resolve issues. 

Being a one bedroom 900 sq ft space I thought a household of 4 was a stretch but who am I to question a professional management company.Two months ago the renters allowed another 4 people to move in, taking the total household size from 4 to 8 (now 4 adults and 4 children).

Yes, always check first that the fuel source is not disconnected (or too low if oil or propane).Another odd one can happen on the high efficiency direct vented units; with those, on a windy day, things like loose paper or plastic bags can blow within close enough proximity to the air intake pipe, and then get sucked into the intake pipe and blocking the opening.

It will make you money but there are less risky areas I'd park my money in. Take
