I want to exit as I don't get any personal use from the STR being 20 mins from home and would rather apply the capital to another opportunity in multifamily (LTR) or another STR in Hawaii where my brother is a broker and now manages STRs.

You need to make sure you're working with someone whose sending you personalized deal flow that actually meets your buying criteria.

Keep in mind, you can’t use personal funds or your home's equity to directly fund the SDIRA investment, and all property expenses must be paid from the IRA.

Every company has atleast 1 person who leaves a negative review but what you fail to realize is that this is real estate.

Great for personal residence but not for scaling.  

This is advantageous bc later you have a third party loan (not your personal money) so seasoning period is 90 days to DSCR out. 

BUT, let’s say for personal reasons you want to “stretch” for faster wealth accumulation.  

I personally think it is best to work with local professionals with a good track record. 

Keep in mind that DSCR loans are how most investors have scaled. whether its residential DSCR or commercial DSCR at 5+ units. personally, i like them better. few reasons why:1. seasoning period is only like 10-30 days vs 60days going conventional2. seller max contributions DSCR is 3-6% where conventional its only 2% max3.
