You said it well, state it in the lease Account Closed Insert a line that Tenant agrees that sub-leasing is not allowed.

I have had to modify based on the situation but basically it goes something like the following: Upon signature by bothparties this terminates the occupancy at x address of (old tenant) and all obligations between the parties ( insert landlord name)  and  (tenant name)   financial or otherwise are hearby terminated  as of x date.

Hey @Karoline Kaon, I don't have a ton of experience with portable dishwashers specifically, but I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the strike plate (the place where the latch inserts).
