Fear is the only thing holding you back.

I feel..frozen with fear at my less than perfect credit, even though i know i have a nice advantage with so much equity just sitting there untapped. 

The first issue I am running into happens to be initial capital for investing, and this stems from my fear of taking on an initial loan for a down-payment on a property is this a good idea to do or bad and why? 

What’s more, I have a credit score of 750+ and without the fear of being rejected anymore, the only obstacle left for achieving my goal in getting started in real estate would be myself. 

I am not into property management so am fearful that a triple decker will require me to spend more time than i'd like managing the tenants/property.Also, what is the best place to invest around boston?

Fear of missteps is really impeding progress.

I'm sure I'm missing a couple others.I remember mentioning this when I first moved out here and how I was genuinely fearful from a public safety standpoint and then a year later October 1st happened :-(Plus on a better note, Golden Knights + Raiders + eventual NBA team (inevitable)...bound to bring an ounce of stabilization in rougher times.

We want to buy the property but fear of,  flood insurance being required if we have it financed through a lender even though the lender states that it's not in a flood plain when they checked.

So again I would never paint the yellow vinyl siding for a flip for fear of potentially causing very expensive problems and for no reason 

, unfortunately that is not the case, I see many of you on this site looking for deals in big cities and other properties that just aren't going to preform as well when the next crash happens (Biiiiiig Speculation), but in all honesty if your not investing in areas where the majority of the population collects a paycheck every month for the next 4-6 years without fear of a stock price or layoffs then your request on the forums seems a little pointless.
