I pay $26 per sq. ft for fabrication and installation and I do not get charged extra for OG bullnose or mitered edge details.For slabs, it depends if you get the jumbo slabs or regular, but I can buy jumbo slabs and net 60 sq. ft out of them and only pay $600-$750 for them.

We have had success with Kilz, removing the carpet and any other fabric such as curtains.

OdoBan can also be used on some fabric and as an air freshener.For the walls and ceiling, wash them down with a mixture of vinegar and water.

I would build something like a wood pergola and lay sunshade fabric on top, stretch it tight and put strips of wood on top of that and screw it to the top. 

Fabrics - wash with white vinegar and air out in sunshine.5.  

You then just have to install them, rather than fabricate them first then install. 

Things to consider are tile size (timeless 8x8, 12x12, 16x16, subway, vs trendy 6x24, large plank tiles, etc.) textures (trendy fabric look) and colors.  

However, we get our cabinets pre fabricated from Home Depot and have a carpinter install them.

If you do decide to paint, you can sort of "prototype" the color by going to the fabric store and getting a few yards of different colors of fabric - pure white, cream, whatever you think might look good. 

We did use fabric instead of paint for a kid request for silver.
