@Nate Shields - I heard the same origin story regarding the Featured Agent program from the sales folks that disappeared. 

(Part two),,,Now that it's a rental the IRS will take 100k+ if you decide to sell.Put 500k in a Vanguard or Schwab Money market fund, you'll make in interest the same amount you make in rent without dealing with entitled tenants and repairs.If you insist on being a landlord, take the money and buy five places and spread out your risk.

If someone does the work to generate a meaningful question, I wish there was more respect given to those folks. 

My folks do Narragansett, RI and do great.

The folks that live paycheck to paycheck will struggle in any economy.  

After that, get out and meet some folks at the local meetups.

Sometimes I received phone calls from curious folks who wanted to get a quote on their note but were not serious about selling.

Everyone is entitled to their OPINION.  

I could not get a straight answer from anybody at the City level, I got three different answers from three different folks within 10 minutes of each other via email.

So yes, I have seen folks sell a property as a business.
