I will not get trapped in comfort zones that will keep me from moving forward but will embrace the warrior spirit within me and move steadfastly toward the prize with nothing to hide, nothing to prove, and nothing to fear, giving all glory to God.

BRRRR could work too ... you can combine the two ... forget about what large firms do, you are not a large firm nor should you start off trying to invest like one; embrace your smallness, small can be beautiful and has its advantages.

But stock investing is not for everyone - it requires a tough mindset to go against the crowd and have the stomach to embrace the volatility.

I disagree with him though, to the extent that door-knocking is not the way since it's the most frustrating and unpleasant experience for both sides, as the prospect is not ready for you.We need not work harder but smarter by going digital, being where the eyeballs are, and not doing it all by ourselves by outsourcing the online marketing activities to experts that have invested their years and have embraced the online tools that most have a hard time getting their head around.What we need is "Warm Calling".
