Inspection: electric panel 100 AMP; thought was 200 and may not get insurance because of it plus issue with electric boiler; ceiling torn out in kitchen due to a leak upstairs possible piping; heat pump has error 1 not working; cast iron hook up to the city that is now obsolete.

No alum wiring, much of the cast iron piping has been swapped out.

For plumbing - if anything is cast iron waste or galvanized water line, they are beyond their life expectancy, same with knob and tube, gravity furnaces/boilers.

It's better than casting a wide net that will simply land where ever.I'd love to hear how things are going for you over these coming months.

Old houses have cast iron pipers that will disintegrate (because of age and/or foundation shift).

Some people want to cast a large net to get in front of as many people as possible.
