Mortgages are 5% now and Us treasuries yield over 3%, anyone who doesn't understand what those are and how treasuries affect all assets has no business discussing home valuations.An appraisal means nothing, I had to get an appraisal to insure my exotic car a few months I, I wanted a $140k valuation, which is what I paid, they gave me $200k, how/what/why I don't know and I don't care.

@Cara Lonsdale I would call the water company and find out what the procedure is for getting the pipe back installed and find out who's responsible for that cost.

@Cara Lonsdale, based on Micah's response:  in the state of GA, the seller is legally required to disclose any latent issues with the property.Thank you to everyone for your feedback. 

They may want to use your investment property or a car as collateral but it shouldn't be that difficult to come up with the money. 

That’s kind of like asking how much is a car. A
