Then a dog was apparently barking non stop and tenants called police and it has been removed.

They don't piss or poop in the house and don't go bark crazy.However, I dog sat a friend's dog recently and that was a nightmare for me and my tenants.

My husband is dead-set against pets because he doesn't want calls from the other tenants about dogs barking, and he doesn't want the floors destroyed by cat pee.

They sodded the backyard.. and barked the front with some plantings... but left the tracked out carpet... and stuff and garbage on the property.  

Maybe I was just barking up the wrong trees.

And another reason you might want a decent % of dead as a dog barking equity...
