I can't imagine you ever attend a Guru workshop and hear ideas like this be discussed but these are the ideas that are at the core of our industry.

I actually took a workshop with my local REIA on this subject and learned a lot.

Michael is the real deal and he brought a lot of local experience to the table.That said, I'm sure it depends on the speaker.I would definitely consider additional workshops in the future, however, in regards to the monthly meetings...I really like Tom & Carolina personally, but the meetings can be very sales-y.

His group does a morning-afternoon workshop (usually the weekend after the court-house auctions on the first Tuesday of the month in Bexar County).  

With all the fly by night workshops and seminars its hard to decifer the good from bad.

I attended a workshop on notes last Sat, which was hosted by the DC REIA, Traction, which I have also joined.

I am looking to build a steel building/garage/workshop in south Florida.  

And everytime the doors are open I will be in there whether it's for the Dealmaker's Workshop, the wholesaling subgroup or the rehabbing group.
