I guess a tenant screening service might suffice for some of it, if you're set up with one and get the investor/sponsor to agree to play tenant.

I looked at the Greenville County Sheriff's Office website and there is no "bad check division".Is it really worth involving the Sheriff's office or beginning a court process when serving a South Carolina 5-Day Notice to Pay or Vacate might suffice to get your rent (or at least position you to be able to file for unlawful detainer?)

HML is usually a lending company.. so no different than how a bank operates.. only more expensive.many HML are now advertising themselves as private money lenders.. the only reason they do this is the inference that their rates would be lower.Each lender handles their portfolio differently but suffice it to say most service their own loans.
