Again: I am not suggesting that YOU would commit fraud... but there are scam artists that might try to take advantage of you.

All of the "free credit report" sites I've looked at seem to be scams that want you to join some service.Also, I have a very high paying part time job right now that I pretty much lucked into but am thinking that it would be a good idea to work in a real estate office or mortgage company or as an assistant to a real estate agent or something like that while I finish school so that I can learn as much about RE as possible in the next couple of years, but all of those types of jobs pay about $10-$12 per hour and I'm making $20.00 per hour now.

Is that a scam?

Well, I guess I'm stupid b/c the site is a scam offering nothing that it promises.

Every question is one more potential stumbling block for the new investor… and a way for a less-than-honest person to scam that new investor.

There were scams(i'm out 48K), lots of unknowledgeable sales people and an over building frenzy.

I recognize that there are scams out there that promise a life of untold wealth but never deliver.

Like I said from his post it sounds like he is lost and has no one and being that he is soliciting on the net where scams run rampant (Remember the poor guy that mentors for a mere 75 bucks?)

Is it a scam?

I invest in tax liens or tax deeds because you can't get "scammed" -- the seller is the local county government and everything is transparent/public records.
