Several more visits revealed that the dog lived there.

I asked about getting set up and the leads and he basically told me I need to be patient and "all will be revealed" in the future.

He noticed a couple workers in a field near a backhoe and a fresh hole in the ground. 

Also by starting fresh with a run down project I will be able to use my Design ability to make Very comfortable, high end feeling apartments for less then most people could pay someone to do a low quality updated apartment with all the weird layout and initial problems.I would love to meet any of you who have suggestions or feed back on the realities of making a business plan like this come to life. 

--@Joe Papp - tenant now reveals the issue has been going on for 3-4 months. the tenant had subtenants (roommates) in the past that we knew about, but to our knowledge those subtenants moved out months ago with no issues. we have several properties where tenants have frequent overnight guests - and we had made the assumption that this person (the roommate who was locked out) was simply a frequent guest, not an actual subtenant....if that makes any sense. 

During this basic cleanup and buildout stage we received various offers which quickly revealed to us the high potential that this cannabis real estate market may provide.

You will always have your good memories there.Most of the time it's best to sell and start fresh, especially with a divorce.
