Listening to her got me hyped about Detroit. 2k properties did not appreciate.. they sold 50 years ago for more money than that and peaked about 2000 in the 100k range.what happened was a epic melt down of real estate values unseen anywhere in the US or world probably for that matter.so they are just crawling back up to where thence they came.. they have no appreciated.. heck they would cost 200k just to rebuild.
