Fill in the Blank: In 2013 I Plan To ______________

It's ridiculous, considering the fact that they don't get paid if its vacant, how so many of them are below standards in the US, from what people testify here and in other places.Thankfully we hardly run into PM or tenancy issues in Japan, but when they do occur, its a nightmare...Good luck with the cash flow increase, too.

Leasehold in Thailand

This is not unique at all as there are many countries in the world where foreigners cannot own freehold and landed property except in certain circumstances and these countries include Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Switzerland, Vietnam, Korea, Japan etc. etc As a consequence in our situation we are NOT a condominium but are classed as an APARTMENT complex [REMOVED] and [REMOVED] (a different meaning in law) and as such we only do Leasehold but as previously explained we then give the Land Ownership Company to the owners themselves so they are leasing from themselves and become both the Lessor and Lessee, nothing could be safer!

Bad and good areas can be radically different in different countries, too (and with today's technology and ease of business transactions, the world's your oyster) - a bad neighbourhood in Japan means factory and shift workers, blue collar folk who, aside from potentially being a few weeks late in payment, would never trash or harm a property, or even cause their neighbours to complain about anything. In the US - different story altogether.
