Not many American municipalities are looking realistically at this yet, but over the next decade I'll bet the it will become more of a front burner issue

It helped avoid wandering contractor syndrome and having them put you on a back burner.

Also if you put a big pot on the front burner see what it bangs up against and figure that into your plan.

I routinely get the tenant call for a bad garbage disposal, plugged sink or toilet, stove burner that doesn’t work, window crank that’s stripped, even a light that’s not working (and it’s the light bulbs), change the locks, leak under the sink, etc., etc.

So, until I see the benefits of the cost and effort to train others, it gets put on the back burner due to insufficiently motivating me.Meanwhile, theres a market that I can continue to influence as much or as little as I wish.
