Much the same as using a credit card to pay a credit card doesn't save any interest until you use cash to pay off the second card.It's funny that you say I'm wrong, but then you blatantly disregard the whole premise of what we've been talking about.

They had hung track lights, an outlet, and a switch, all run in romex, which was connected to an extension cord that they ran through the door, across a walkway, and plugged into an outlet on the outside of the house.My first thought was "I don't want to evict them, but they are blatantly disregarding the lease."

I live in a very VERY tenant friendly state, and my county judge hates landlords and often ignores the law when ruling, if I were to burn my tenants crap or put it out on the curb and blatantly ignore the law I don't even want to think about the ramifications!
