It is much like your day job where the company sets up a 401k as a savings benefit for the employees of the company, just that a Solo 401k is very simplified to administer because there are no non-owner employees in the plan.The rollover funds in your current employer 401k most likely can be rolled over to either an IRA or Solo 401k that you establish (check with your plan administrator, though).
