The contractor reports to me that there's cats everywhere, the place SMELLS like ammonia..... he even refused the job because he got a terrible allergic reaction and the place smelled too bad.....Other than annoying instances of having to wait for him to get us cheks a couple days late, he hasn't been a problem.....But I fear the place will have a permenant smell, and who knows what other pet damage there is.....Should I threaten eviction?

Yes sometimes it was messy but usually between the choice of 1 or 2 apartments a new person would get the idea that yes it was floor plan they were considering and were able to overlook the sometimes messy aspects.I did run across an occasional unit that was not able to be shown until vacated, due to terrible housekeeping but this was rare, and my owner knew then that I would have a vacancy until turned and ready to show.

They used to listen to me with bated breath, hanging on my every word...then they hit their terrible twos, and oh, the humanity...now they're adolescents, and I'm afraid they're going to take the "make love, not war" thing a bit too seriously!

The current owners are an older couple who are in and out of the hospital and have terrible bookkeeping so it's been a tough getting good documentation.
