Obviously I limit which breeds I accept, but that's about it.I don't have a lot of CapEx as my places are under 30 years old, and hopefully under 15.  

As far as dogs go, breeds matter and the type proposed is a good one for the landlord. 

Under no circumstances will cats be allowed on the premises or restricted breeds.

@Frank Wong what do you do to build your environment so that it breeds success?

It's worth a look.I feel like contractors are a different breed. 

Pit bulls may be a restricted breed in the neighborhood - and even if they're not, it should be on record that they've already broken loose and attacked someone's dog.

Some of the things I ask them is if they are working, how long they've been working at the same job, how many are in their family, do they have pets,if it's a dog what breed and age it is etc.

They are an aggressive breed, and aggressive breeds are not generally allowed to be service dogs.If you are trying to verify whether a service dog is legitimate, the key is to ask for the prescription for the dog. 

From there they made a breeding den and nests in the insulation.It's important to get the rodents out of the structure, sanitize the areas where they've been, and seal closed points of entry.
