@Dave Vona, there are a lot of challenges here in comparing the two.I have invested in SFR and syndications, granted syndcations only started about 4 yrs ago, where SFRs were 14 yrs ago.The biggest challenge in comparing these two, from a very technical aspect, is you are using syndicators 15-18% projections on value add properties (and the rent increases that can come with them) versus a more turnkey approach.So let's look at most syndicators in the value-add space and for completed deals:I would say, many groups hit roughly 25% IRRs for their LPs, often with a roughly 2-3 yr hold. 

I have no qualms with Lane (i'm not an investor of his), but many in this space have lost lots of investor money.

I'm in a space to do some house hacking, and am under the general (unresearched, unless you count years of Zillow watching) opinion that my local rental market is healthy.

I know this is not the most ideal time to buy with interest rates, so just curious to hear how everyone is doing in the mid term rental space, in particular.

At the time, I also had a job that kept me traveling, so I didn’t need much space and used the opportunity to rent out the nicer rooms in my homes.

Hey Tyler,I know of a few that require a certain leverage on the lower amounts, and I'm sure they would want to know your experience in spaces like that.

I feel they know what they are doing in the NNN lease space.

Managing that many personalities in one space can be difficult.I also recommend you set aside money as if you were paying rent.
