I already gave separate accounts for all my properties and don't love the idea of having another account.For more reference from my side on RentRedi is a bit clunky to navigate, make updates/changes and while I know it's tiny I don't love that it charges my tenants to pay their rent.

I think this would make sense in the long run for the rental property as it will extend the life of everything it touches like the Sink, faucets, showers, water heater, dishwasher, and Clothes washer while also providing clean drinking water in addition to the reverse osmosis drinking water system I already have installed.The main problem with this hardness level is that we get a major deposit buildup on all of these items, which will eventually clog up the faucets for tenants and lead to rusty shower enclosures that take forever to clean.In addition to this, it looks like we could likely have the salt added every couple of months by the property managers in addition to that it would allow for a quick inspection from them, and then also we would instead bill the cost of the service onto the ledger for the tenants.For reference, it does not look like the landlords in the area have water softeners.Thank you everyone for your input ahead of time.

I do have experience with significant home renovation but for a personal residence, based on my experience with this I would prefer to buy a property built after 1970 if possible but not sure if that's realistic, the only deals I could seem to find from the MLS are very old houses which I know often brings more challenges with the renovation.Would appreciate any references or suggestions anyone has, so far I've only invested in rental properties that were already in good condition bought with a loan.

In addition, several items can be done simultaneously (I highly recommend this to save time as time is your enemy) such as doing the exterior siding or stucco at the same time interior rough electrical and plumbing is going on.Foundation is always first and rough framing follows that (which includes windows and exterior doors).
