I just want to make sure I'm IRS compliant!

With that doc in hand you model your business to be compliant and off you go.Or you make these silly posts on BP and everyone talks about what they know but really have no authority in these matters.. 

I am NOT PCI compliant (I just found out what that meant last week).

I do not have the time or the wherewithal to pretend to be a lawyer in my spare time to try to form an asset protection structure on my own and keep up to date with all the rules and regulations required to be compliant and within tax law.

@Geoffrey W.Hate to always rain on parades, but;When you go into any business, the first thing to do is to check if your business plans are compliant with laws, are the functions of that business regulated?

At first we had the students do it but they didn't do a good job and it wasn't worth the letters from the city and the compliants from the neighbors.

I am also a consistently prepared applicant with the city of Seattle (DPD), as well as other jurisdictions - meaning that I consistently submit "code-compliant" drawings that isn't a waste of their time, therefore gets through the process quicker.No, this wasn't meant to be a marketing post.My point, is that architects (like me) bring a lot to the table, and are a valuable asset to have on your team.
