My BS detector was repeatedly flagging in the Orange/Red and it was because these promoters wet not authentic and made their living from training, not their investments.

The relationships we've built here are authentic and enduring.

I have been scouting some land and it would be a really low investment I feel because all would be needed is a building, the yardage marker signs and range balls which could get on a discount from a golf retailer such as Taylor made or Nike.

Intel and Nike are big employers in the area, and feed in a lot of the money in the market.  

What if you had an ulterior motive, i.e. winning by losing (building credibility through perceived authenticity and vulnerability)?

If all you do is burn bridges then eventually nowhere left to go but downward toward your demise.Be real, be authentic, be happy about yourself and the path you are on.
