I am looking at a property that is listed as a multi plex on realtor but showing on the assessors website as residential condominium.

Two tenants were renting a condominium unit from an owner in an HOA run building.

Typically, the exterior structural wall is a common element owned by the condominium association. 

Billed as the perfect blend of Condominium that allows short-term rentals, and a fractional ownership of the Hotel model, these are being pushed by both the developers and the municipalities.

The inventory of homes and condominiums available in Sonoma County at the end of November stands at 1,018,  90% ahead of the inventory in November 2017 (535) and down 12% from the inventory last month (1,160).

There are also 6 smaller 7-unit condominium developments that are underway within a block or two as well. 

Does anyone here have any experience of buying and holding condominiums in Midland? 

@Eric MooreIt is most probably you would have to convert the building to condominiums to be able to sell the individual units (at least in the places where we operate you would).The costs and overhead of turning your triplex into condominiums (if you even can), is likey not worth it for three units (but that would be area specific).

If it's a condominium, they will have insurance on the building, as the COA owns the actual structure.
