I like Homer, a quaint little drinking town with a fishing problem, lol!

Deals have been closed with desperate sellers that had to move urgently and with unmotivated sellers that were just shopping their house around fishing for offers.

Not sure if all the rivers are frozen over, but fly fishing or any kind of fishing would be something I'd look into as well.

Don't forget about emergency repairs that may be needed when you're skiing down the slopes or 15 miles out off shore fishing. :)

If ti has a basement , a good electrician could re wire by fishing wires thru the wall from the basement with little or no damage , even while the tenant is there. definatly go with seperate panels AND meters .

Stay active and fish for deals, sharpen you knowledge and skills and be very selective.

If you don't get it "Oh well there are more fish in the sea".

Mostly b/c I like to fly fish and ski up there, and also b/c it was a homepath (fannie may) steal I couldn't pass on.RE: Denver, I'm getting ready to stick my toe in the proverbial waters of REI, probably fix n flip vs. landlording at this point.
