Things have been slow the last 2 years, but it's always good around Christmas so we're coming off a nice stretch.I never have found a local handyman to use.

We have been getting a week for Thanksgiving and a week for Christmas, but that is it.

So, obviously, between Thanksgiving and Christmas is an extremely hard time to find a good tenant.   

hah...I mean, at least when I tried to make millions as an *Anonymous* Distributor in '91, I was able to sell some cleaning products, diapers, and one fake Christmas tree before realizing I had joined a multi-level marketing cult! 

@Brett Snodgrass gave me an inch and I got everything I could out of that opportunity but how I did it was I literally slaved away - working 6-7 days a week (even on Christmas), for close to three years. 

I did put in some (fake) poinsettias around Christmas so there was a pop of red.

Makes cookies for me and the neighbors at Christmas - just a very nice person. 2) she loves the place and treats it like a home.
