We are currently living just south of Boston and are looking to purchase a 2-4 unit property in which we would live in one of the units.

One thing that DSCR is not really set up for is if the property is "Subject to" meaning not move in ready/live able.

I am starting with a small budget(100k-120k) so trying to understand which neighborhoods I should focus on, would love to get recommendations if you have :) I live south of the city and only like to go about 30 minutes away from home. 

well if I ever make it to the Smokies to see what the draw is  I will rent a condo then :)  I am just guess but I suspect folks that go there want to be in the woods and hear the birds and maybe some local mtn views etc.. or some sort of privacy they never get at home out east were there is not very much public lands close to where they live in the big city. ????

Lived in The Woodlands for almost 19 years now and been investing up in this area for the last 9.

I am gonna live in this multifamily, thus I think I am qualified as owner occupying.

Experienced syndication sponsors are considered experts in the real estate field and are often invited to various investment conferences to speak in keynote presentations and on expert panels.
