In smaller SFH it's a bit dark so we plan to go lighter.

This house requires a few weekends of elbow grease with some minor updating in the bathrooms, carpet, paint, stain the cabinetry a lighter color, but I think It was updated before it sold for $125,000 in 2008.

Rather that throw his stuff on the front lawn, the socially acceptable way of publicly announcing your relationship is over, out tenant went to the store and bought a bag of charcoal and some lighter fluid.  

With the cost of living so much cheaper and the traffic jams so much lighter, I can see myself moving there some day.

Hi Beth, I haven’t followed rental activity lately to really comment unfortunately but had read some comments a month or two ago about lighter bookings, but that was also the slower season too.

If you go see one without knowing what you need from them, you may both be frustrated, and your wallet will be lighter.

bathroom rehab depends on plumbing but i expect min. 3K for lighter one.kitchen rehab is about 2-3k ; the cabinet is not expensive.that's labour and materials.
