Their personal problem does not effect your contract in any way.

I ain’t no lawyer (except on the Internet), so will possibly have to resort to checking with the lender (BoA) to confirm as I didn’t see anything in the contract that suggested that it closes if I’m no longer resident.James

One PM company I dealt with back in San Diego... thankfully not in OC... buried costs for advertising and re-leasing in their contracts.

Irony of your analogy is that oil and gas production needs to drill many holes to succeed. 

Those are tiny, tiny obstacles compared to where this process succeeds or fails, and that is with the contracting. 

We had wonderful guarantees and a signed contract.

And I go over house rules, I can usually tell after that what’s up , plus get your money first , have them sign a STR contract if you want, good luck !
