This is a self directed RRSP or TFSA account that allows you to lend your money out to people with the backing of their mortgage for a high interest rate. 1st, 2nd, 3rd mortgages, down payments, refinances, flipping or renovation money.

It may make people feel better but does it actually do anything?

There are a bunch of reasons people sell a property.

So you can scale that if you want.FHA is for people with poor credit and very little down payment.

They sell you a package to enter and then find you people to stay and never paid you back!

From watching the market and myself investing in Bryan/College Station, people are still renting out these properties nicely.They can be leased as a whole or rented by the room and are usually in great areas, close to the university, grocery stores, and restaurants.
