I suspect without money and active participation as LP, you cannot legally do what you suggest.Have you seen the underwriting?  

I used Stacey Lancaster (she's pretty active on Bigger Pockets) and she was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

I saw an offer like this one recently with a Navy Federal bank statement that "had $700K" in the bank and it seemed legit.. but the LLC wasn't active with the state and they had assignment of contract language all over it.

I'm not sure if I am prepared to buy a property in Columbus on my own, but I may be more interested as an active or passive partner. 

Investors should be extremely cautious with Qualified Intermediaries that also represent (and get paid on) replacement property solutions or Qualified Intermediaries that refer clients to their "associates" or "friends" for replacement property solutions so that they can get paid a referral fee or those that actively put replacement property solutions together in order to make money.

I know it may seem from everyone's eyes that I may be jumping the gun and going in blind, which is fair I have no experience in real estate or STR but I do have experience in business and have had a successful business when I was active in the market I worked in.
