Of course as nature of things the community of investors in my area that are investing in the US is small and no united network of investors exists.Couple of days back a large conference of investors took place and I mingled with everybody and handed out business cards and managed to assemble 20+- investors to open a REIA.

I'd love some input on what to do:I am a 40 yrs with a stock market investments of 350K trying to coast fire in the next couple of years.I just got a green card and moving to the US from Canada and looking at which accounts to invest that money in the US.But I am not sure I will stay in the US in 10 or 20 yrs.What do you think would be the best strategy to coast fire when you are not sure where you are going to be in your later years?

I see this constantly out in the market place those who want to jump in the RE world that have limited to no resources and they are far to worried about what the equity or money partner is going to make.. or they spend months trolling the internet trying to find that private investor who is happy with 8% or 10% which they never find and they just lose the dream ... if there is not enough money in a deal to split profit or be able to comfortably pay HML then the deal is too skinny to start with..
