You would be amazed at the number of people who think you can cram food down both drains because there is a disposal in one drain.

They might be willing to install a storm drain to remedy the situation.  

It has drained us and we are wondering what other types of financing we can pursue. 

I've had to replace the the nipple coming out of the wall for supply and drain, but the rest are intact.

So, if there used to be water in the basement, but you had the drain tiles replaced, you do not have to disclosure it.

If you want a tie-breaker,  you can hire a structural engineer for around $400 - they will give you a clear statement as to what is needed.Also, be sure to consider the age of the house and where you are lifting e.g. near a bath, kitchen or other potential drain line) - if it is an older house and has cast iron pipes, you will probably have some plumbing work when you are done lifting. 

All the downspouts were routed into it existing drains so there was no drainage or water issues.I am not sure what you mean by SIP but that probably means that we didn't have to do it!

Then we installed a top level french drain below the frost line.  

A simple ditch dug around the property to drain the runoff properly cured the swamp problem.
