I was working for a company that helps investors buy already rehabbed properties.

He is not trustworthy and i would stay far away from that company. 

@Jeffery Jones As someone who owns 6 single-family homes under the Section 8 program and runs a property management company that manages over 100 Section 8 properties, I’ve learned a lot about the ins and outs of the program—not just the idealized version often shared on social media.If done correctly, Section 8 can be a great way to diversify a portfolio.

We own and operate a mid size REI and property management company in Marquette Co. (~300 units or so). 

As a broker, I do have access to about 15 companies that do helocs on investments! 

Would you like to manage the property yourself, have an assistant do it for you, or have a management company do it for you?

I'm a CT based investor, flipper and property management company owner.  

Also I did inquire on a PO Box with companies do provide a service where they can scan all mail and redirect them.

@Paola AstridRecommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.
