The amount of knowledge is overwhelming, but I'm hanging in there.My 401k and Roth used to be my rock, literally my goal to becoming financially independent, but I'm seeing now how thin simply maxing out a Roth account is for me as a plan.

@Ernesto HernandezYes, there are fee's for your license from the BRE:http://www.dre.ca.gov/Licensees/Fees.htmlas well from your local board of realtors depending upon where you hang your license..

Since I am the principal broker I am not giving away half to some company I am hanging my license with.I am on internal systems for first looks because the brokerages know I screen my buyers upfront and look at financials.

They'll kind of let it hang out until the very last minute? 

Actually it is making money now, I'm just hanging onto it for a while longer as we finish up some unit rehabs, an office remodel, and a burn unit that could be pretty costly.  

Here is another idea: every month when the rent is paid, they receive a hanging tag (or two) that goes on the mirror and expires on the 5th of the following month.
