There are plenty of markets across the country that still have a lot of value in the actual real estate investment.

Actually, it is possible do structure a 1031 Exchange on the sale of one or more relinquished properties and then using the proceeds through the 1031 Exchange to construct improvements on real property you already own.

And oh I have heard that about the majority of people not actually practicing. 

I haven't seen any info on people earning any money on the actual affiliate/commission side of Minoan.

@Bryan Maddex isn't it such a funny paradox that you actually benefit if the market goes down while you have your loan.

(eg, if your lot is not the standard 25 x 125, but some other multiple where the width is actually skinnier than 25, and the lenghth is longer than 125, and you want to reduce side setback requirements, eg.)
