Here are the two things I would do if I were in your shoes. 1.

I would be waiting for the shoe to drop but it may take a while. 

So I am quite familiar with the fact that things are rarely as easy as they seem and I didn't go into this venture with rose tinted glasses.

A better approach would be for you to put yourself in the shoes of the type of person you would like to help you and think about how you might make them interested in doing so. 

And while I do not have anywhere near 200 doors I have certainly been in your friend's shoes on multiple occasions.
