Then you can read a more in-depth book like The Book On Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner or The Unofficial Guide to Real Estate Investing by Spencer Strauss.2.

However, this is my 1st year in any form of real estate, so I am still learning and feeling my way through.

I know this because they filed an affidavit which clouded the title on a land contract that I purchased from them.   

I have REPS by actively and materially participating in my rental property portfolio, and also work as a real estate broker full time (1099 collecting commissions through a single member/purpose LLC) from buildings I sell.My losses from my rental properties (LLC #A) largely offset any federal and state taxes from my brokerage business (LLC #B).

Of course Lancaster is a huge real estate spot in Pennsylvania and continues to grow bigger and better with York county doing well but not quite as fantastic as Lancaster.
