HELOCs or 2nd Mortgage Installment Loans also work, but on investment properties, they are going to capout at about 75% of the value of the property minus your first mortgage balance, so you might not have $300K worth of "workable equity".

I didn't look at all the islands but a handful that were all pretty close to st john but prices are pretty elevated right now and even the math on a flood-damaged 6 bedroom 6 bath with a crazy view and me doing 50% of the work was still not workable

Unfortunately, Zelle just reduced their daily limits to $500/day (at least with Ally bank), so this solution is no longer workable for rent payments.I was going to suggest that our landlord use eRentPayment since we had great success using it several years ago, but then I discovered the ongoing problem with their payment provider.What's everyone using now that's similar?
