Hampton Roads Landlord Assoc - Meets the first Wed of the month for a lunch and Learn.

My wife and I do have Big goals but we want to be financially stable when we build up so that we can enjoy life together while working less.. and with less stress.. lots of good advice here but the main theme is to do what feels right to us and I think we know what that is now.

Hey just look for some help I'm a first-time landlord and looking to start off on the right foot if there is any info or pointers you could offer I'm all ears just more a less looking for a wish I knew this when I started theme here thanks in advance.

From there, they all had slightly different payment schedules that they preferred, but the consistent theme was that they wanted to be paid each tranche in advance for the work that they would complete rather than being paid upon completion. 

I just started reading through the forum here and one theme I see already is that i need a team!

The same way you would hire a wedding planner, and sign a contract to know that they will perform, and they know that they will be paid for the work they do for you, it's a win/win.

A bit more about us: we run an event based videography company specializing in Ice Skating/Dance but are branching out into wedding and commercial work as well; I have been a career bartender for the past 8 years and I am a huge nerd about food/beverage/hospitality.

The second unit I spent more time and money on, I also added a cowboy theme and went the extra mile on it.
