I can "understand" buying an apartment building - but I don't go to bars, I don't drink beer, etc. etc. - their enthusiasm is lost on me.

There was a Twilight Zone episode where these guys rob a bank and horde gold bars, and manage to take a sleeping gas and wake up 100 years later to spend their booty.

But when I do real estate closings, I use an attorney that has passed the bar in that state.

Just wary of how frothy things are now...Everyone is a little nervous but (barring nuclear war, which seems like a decreasing risk) I see no reason for the local music to stop.Is it a silly time to buy? 

Nothing is bullet proof, but barring illegal or egregious action on your part you should be fine.
