The real kicker is the owners had to pay $10,000 to this company to be scammed out of their houses.

I love the idea of soliciting everyone under at open houses and in the grocery store in an effort to reclaim the thousands I spent on the same scam.

The only way NRU can get people to join their scam is to spam message boards.

The whole thing seems like a scam to me on so many levels -1 ) The "arrears" are listed as a single line item on the bill with no explanation of how they were derived2 ) We have never ever received a bill for any of the previous years (except for last years fee of $60)3 ) There are no minutes or any information about their policies or decisions on thier website4 ) I googled the "directors" of the homeowners association and they appear to be property investor types rather than local residents5 ) My wife was 13 when she received the land - whatever she signed (almost 30 years ago!!)

Doesn't always mean they are trying to scam you or take advantage of you.I have come across so many amazing new Realtors that had the potential to be really great but they got under the wing of the wrong person.This market will weed out the successful Realtors from the amatuers.If you are a new Realtor and trying to figure out how you can best service your investors, my advice would be to read as much as you can about the art of negotiating.

After spending all the time I have researching the process, I know these people are just trying once again to scam the client!

I agree many were scammed by crooked sales people but the bottom line is nobody forced them to sign the dotted line.
