So, I suppose I could say I would be an investor and operator (but outsource/automate as much of the day-to-day operations as possible). 

I'd have to outsource pretty much all the work to someone local there since I live in CA and have a full time job. 

Shortly after I realized it would be more efficient use of my time if I outsourced my cold calling.

But I would also suggest that you do your own screening or at the very lease be deeply involved in the process if you outsource it.If you don't have the time, energy, personality, contacts to manage it yourself, outsources it, if/when the $hit hits the fan you will be grateful you have a team to assist you.

We are going to charge more than outsourcing overseas but less than a typical US based co.What demand is out there for bookkeeping?

I would argue that the more fatigued you get, the more you outsource or avoid the headaches. 

Also get a PM to run some if you plan to outsource.
