Then you could tell them a more qualified applicant applied during this phase and you have selected them.You could consult a local attorney to confirm this is the best path.

The way this should work is you get a loan for 90% of the Purchase Price and 100% of the rehab costs.As the contractor completes a phase and inspection is done for said phase then a draw is released.
